Everyone knows that an online game is only as good as the network that carries it and there are a number of reasons for that. Those of you reading this who have 4g internet service probably don’t need to hear this, but anyone trying to game on a network that just can’t handle it better listen up because there are some things you have to know if you want to get the most out of your online experience.

What it all comes down to more than anything else is bandwidth – the amount of usage you are taking up on the network. Without a strong and reliable network, you could really be putting some horrendous strain on a network that just can’t handle gaming as well as IM. The same is true even if you are console gaming online – unless you’re network is big enough it just can’t handle the load. Looking back it seems remarkable that it has been 15 years since the Nintendo 64 first hit the market in North America.
